Hunt of Pike County and James L. Hunt County of Monroe of the one part and Alexander H. Broach of the County of Jones of the other part ~~~ Witnesseth that the said John T. Hunt and James l. Hunt for and in consideration of the sum of eighteen hundred & twenty seven ($1827.00) dollars in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold aliened conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien convey and confirm unto the said Alexander H. Broach his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situated and being in the County of Jones and State aforesaid containing two hundred and sixty one (261) acres more or less and being part of the land known as the Aleck Hunt’s lands; The land hereby conveyed bounded on the north by lands of the said A.H. Broach and John T. Hunt James L. Hunt on the east by the land recently belonging to Annie E. Hunt, South by land of William Johnson and west by lands of Jonn T. Hunt & Jas. L. Hunt. To have and to hold the said bargained premises with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereunto appurtaining to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said Alexander H. Broach his heirs executors administrators & assigns in fee simple: And the said Jno. T. Hunt & James L. Hunt the said bargained premises unto the said Alexander H. Broach his heirs executors administrators and assigns against the said John T. Hunt and James L. Hunt their heirs executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons shall and will warrant and forever defend by virtue of these presents ~~ In witness whereof the said John T. Hunt Guardians of the person and property of Annie E. Hunt minor child of Alex Hunt late of the County of Jones, Dec’d of the first part and Alexander H. Broach of said County of the other part: Witnesseth that whereas the Ordinary of the County of Jones and State aforesaid did at his Court holden on or in the month of January 1872 Eighteen Hundred & Seventy Two, authorizes and empowers the said James L. Hunt as guardian as aforesaid to sell and dispose of all the real estate of the said Annie E. Hunt minor, lying and being in said County of Jones ~ and whereas the said James l. Hunt having given public notice of said sale in the Telegraph and Messenger a gazette published in the City of Macon County of Bibb & State aforesaid as required by law and having complied with all the requirements of the law whereon did on the first Tuesday of this present month proceed to expose the land hereafter described for sale at the Court House in Clinton, Jones Co., Georgia between the hour limited by law for such sale. And whereas the said Alexander H. Broach bought said land at and for the sum of Twenty two hundred and seventy five dollars which was the highest sum bid for the same at the sale. Now the said James L. Hunt guardian as aforesaid in consideration of the said sum of twenty two hundred and seventy five dollars in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has bargained sold aliened and conveyed and by these presents does grant bargain sell alien and convey unto the said Alexander H. Broach his heirs and assigns the following described land to wit. Three hundred and twenty five acres more or less situated and being in said county of Jones, bounded on the North by lands of James Newsom & A.H. Broach, on the East by lands of Joshua Harris, on the South by lands of William Johnson and on the West by lands of John T. Hunt & James L. Hunt. To have and to hold said premises to the said Alexander H. Broach his heirs and assigns forever. In testimony whereof the said James L.
