State of Georgia 
Jones County

This Indenture made the 10th day of Febry 1888 between Benjamin F. 
Woodall and Jeremiah G. Smith, Jr. both of the County aforesaid- 
Witnesseth that he B. F. Woodall for and in consideration of the 
sum of seven hundred & twenty dollars the receipt whereof is 
hereby acknowledged. Does hereby sell and convey unto the said 
J. G. Smith, Jr. his heirs and assigns a certain tract or lot of 
land situated in the County aforesaid to wit known as the 
Pond field bounded North by the lands of said J. G. Smith- East 
by the lands of J. F. Barron, South by lands of W. E. Whitehead & 
West by the public road leading from Clinton to Wayside, containing 
ninety acres more or less together with all the rights & privileges 
thereto belonging in fee simple; And the said B. F. Woodall his 
heirs Executors, Administrators and assigns the title to the 
premises aforesaid will forever warrant and defend to the said 
J. G. Smith, Jr. his heirs and assigns against the lawful claims 
of all other persons- In witness whereof the said Benjamin F. 
Woodall has hereunto set his hand and seal the day & year 
aforesaid.
