F. Woodall of the County of Jones of the one part & the Covington & Macon Rail Road Company of said State of the other part- Witnesseth that the said B. F. Woodall for and in consideration of the sum of thirty ($30.00) dollars in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold aliened and conveyed and confirmed and by these present do grant bargain sell alien convey and confirm unto the said Covington & Macon Rail Road Company and their Executors and assigns a track or slip or strip of land in said county of Jones near Wayside one hundred feet wide the same being fifty feet on each side of the center line of said Rail Road; said land to be used as a right of way for there Rail Road or for any other Rail Road purpose; said described land commencing at the intersection of the Rail Road and the public road leading from Clinton to Wayside and adjoining other lands of B. F. Woodall on the East & West and running- along said Rail Road to the lands of Wiley Finny and James F. Barron on the North. To have and to hold the said tract or strip of land with all and singular the rights members and appertenances thereunto appurtaining unto the said Covington and Macon Rail Road Company. Their successions and assigns in fee Simple- And the said B. F. Woodall the said bargained land unto the said Covington & Macon Rail Road Company their successions and assigns against the said B. F. Woodall his heirs Executors and Administrators and against all and every other person or persons shall and will warrant and forever defend by virtue of these presents- In witness whereof the said B. F. Woodall hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal and delivered these presents the day and year first above written. Signed Sealed & delivered in presence of us R. F. Walker B. F. Woodall F.
