March 12, 1841


This indenture made this twelfth day of March in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty one
between John L. Henderson and William White of said
county.

John L Henderson promised to pay William White or bearer
sixty seven dollars and fifty three cents before the
twenty fifth day of December next.

In consideration of five dollars for fifty acres of land
in the eighth district of Jones bounded on the north side
by the land of N. Turbeville, on the east by the lands of
Mrs. White, on the south and west by the lands of Nelson
White.
