This Indenture made the Twenty Second day of December in the year of our Lord 
one thousand Eight hundred and thirty five and in the year of the Independence 
of the United States of America, between James Huckabay of the County of Lee 
and state aforesaid of the one part, and Peter Clower of the County and State 
aforesaid of the other part.   Witnesseth that the said James Huckabay for and 
in consideration of the sum of Three hundred dollars in hand paid at and 
before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is 
hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained, sold, aliened, conveyed and 
confirmed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, alien, convey and 
confirm unto the said Peter Clower, his heirs and assigns All and singular 
that tract or parcel of Land, situate, lying, and being in the sixth district 
of Baldwin when surveyed now Jones County known by Lot No. Ninety Seven and 
half of Lot No. one hundred twelve adjoining Nathan Denning on the West and 
Joseph D. Dingley on the east. 
To have and to hold the said parcel of Land with all and singular the rights, 
members and appurtenances thereof whatsoever to the said Peter Clower being 
belonging or in any wise appertaining, with the remainder and remainders, 
reversion and reversions, rents, issues and profits thereof, to the only 
proper use benefit and behoof of the said Peter Clower, his heirs executors 
and administrators in fee Simple.  And the Said James Huckaby his heirs 
executors and administrators the said bargained premises unto the said Peter 
Clower, his heirs, executors administrators and assigns against the said James 
Huckabay his heirs, executors and administrators, and all and every other 
person or persons shall and will warrant and forever defend by virtue of these 
Presents.
In Witness whereof the said James Huckabay hath herewith set his hand and 
affixed his seal the day and year first above written.
