Witnesseth that I the said William Huckaby for and in consideration of the sum of Fifteen hundred & Sixty dollars to me in hand paid by the said James Brantley the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge before the sealing and delivering of these presents he the said William Huckaby has granted bargained sealed conveyed & confirmed unto James Brantley aforsaid a certain tract or parcell of Land containing one hundred & Eighty five acres more or less situate lying & being in the eleventh district formerly Baldwin now Jones County & it is known & distinguished by No. 61 in said district on the waters of Walnut Creek which lines is to run commencing at a percimmon [sic] tree corner Joining Jones runing [sic] thence and eace[east?] Course to a Sasafact[?] in Masons line runing [sic] thence South to a Liturd[?] Stake Culpeppers corner runing thence west to a pine Joining Mrs. Jones on the branch thence north up the branch to the begining corner. I bind my self my heirs & assigns forever to James Brantley his heirs and assigns to warrant and forever defend the said tract or parcel of Land together with all and Singular the right members and appertainers [sic] thereunto belonging to James Brantley and his heirs to his & theire [sic] own proper use and behoof in Fee Simple whereof I hereunto Set my hand and affix my Seal the day and date above written as witness our hand and seal.
