White being the highest bidder the Same was knocked off to him at the price or sum of three hundred and eleven dollars. Now this indenture made the sixth day of August in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two and in the forty seventh year of the Independence of the United States of America between the said Thomas Livingston Sheriff as aforesaid of the one part and the said Benjamin A. White of the other part, Witnesseth that the Said Thomas Livingston sheriff aforesaid for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and eleven dollars to him in hand paid by the said Benjamin A. White at & before the Sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and Sell so far as the office of Sheriff authorises him unto the Said Benjamin A. White his heirs and assigns all that tract of land containing one hundred one and a quarter acres more or less adjoining Abner Flewellin Moses Smith & others whereon William Huckaby now lives in said county together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereof unto the said Benjamin A. White land being belonging or in any wise appertaining all also all the estate right title interest property claim and demand of the said William Huckaby in law equity or otherwise whatsoever of in or to the same. To have & to hold the said tract of land and premises and every part thereof unto the said Benjamin A. White his heirs and assigns to the only proper use benefit and behoof of the said Benjamin A. White his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple in as full and ample a manner as the said William Huckaby or his heirs and assigns did or might have held and enjoyed the same had it not been seized & sold under the execution aforesaid.
