This Indenture made this the third day of April in the year of our lord one 
thousand eight hundred and twenty one between William Huckaby of the county and 
State first written of the one part and Ussery Wray of the other part.  
Witnesseth that the said William Huckaby for and in consideration of the sum of 
Twelve hundred dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby 
acknowledged hath bargained sold conveyed and confirmed and by these presents 
do bargain sell convey and confirm unto the said Ussery Wray all that tract or 
parcel of land lying and being in the County of Jones containing one hundred 
one and one fourth acres being the South East half of lot number fifty nine in 
the Eleventh district together with all & Singular the rights members and 
appurtinances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to him the said 
Ussery Wray his heirs, administrators, executors or assigns the above described 
tract or parcel of land I will warrant and forever defend unto the said Ussery 
Wray his heirs, Executors, administrators, and assigns against myself my heirs 
Executors administrators and assigns and against the claim or claims of all 
person or persons whatsoever claiming or to claim the same in fee simple.  In 
testimony whereof I have hereunto set my name and affixed my seal the day and 
date first written.
