Witnesseth that whereas the said John Martin has this day bargained sold & delivered and by these presents do bargain sell & deliver unto the said Wm. Winbush his heirs or assigns a certain piece or parcel of land called & known as the Roses Shoal Fraction numbers not recorded in the Eighth District of Baldwin now Jones County containing by estimation one hundred one & a quarter acres & bounded by Joshua Harris & Jones it being the tract of land whereon William W. Brown resided. For & in consideration of the sum of six hundred & fifty dollars the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and I do therefore hereby warrant the right title of the aforesaid tract of land together with all the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto the said William Winbush his heirs & assigns forever & do for myself my heirs or assigns for the consideration heretofore stated warrant the aforesaid land & premises against the claim or claims of all persons whatsoever unto the said William Winbush his heirs executors administrators or assigns to have & to hold the same forever. In witness whereof I the said John Martin have hereunto set my hand & affixed my seal the day & year above mentioned.
