This Indenture made this eighth day of October in the year of our lord one 
thousand eight hundred and fourteen between Benjamine May of the county and 
State afforesaid of the one part and Jonathan C. Woodson of the other part, 
Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the Sum of one hundred dollars to 
him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargaind and 
Sold and by these presents do bargain Sell allien and confirm all that lot of 
land lying and being Situate in the Sixth district of Baldwin when drawn now 
Jones County known and distinguished in plan of Said district by the No. 49 
having Such Shape form and marks as do appear in a plat of the Same to have and 
to hold the Said bargaind premises together with all and Singular the rights 
members and appertenances belonging thereunto unto the Said Jonathan C. Woodson 
his heirs and assigns to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof 
without any manner of condition forever in fee Simple and the Said Benjamine 
May for his part doth consent and agree to warrant and defend the above named 
premises from the lawful claim or claims of all and every person or persons 
whatsoever in witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and affixed my Seal 
the day and year first above written in presents of
