Hensler of the state and County aforesaid of the other, Witnesseth that the Said Benjamin May for and in Consideration of the Sum of Two Thousand Dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and Sell unto the Said John P. Hensler his heirs and assigns all that Tract of land Situate Lying and being in the county of Jones on Walnut Creek Eighth District Baldwin when Surveyed and Known and distinguished in the plan of the Eighth District by the Number One hundred & Twenty Nine granted to Shem Patten of Liberty County & State aforesaid said Tract of land Containing Two hundred Two and a half acres more or less having such Shape form and marks as will more fully appear from a plat of the land annexed to the original grant, to have and to hold the said Tract of Land with all and Singular the rights members and appertenances thereof whatsoever to the Said Tract of Land being belonging or in any wise appertaining with the Remainder and Remainders, revision and revisions, rents, issues and profits thereof to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said John P. Hensler his heirs and assigns in fee Simple and the Said Benjamin May his heirs and assigns the Said Bargained ["premises" crossed out] Tract of Land unto the said John P. Hensler his heirs and assigns against him the said Benjamin May his heirs and assigns and all and every other person or persons shall and will warrant and forever defend firmly by these presents.
