Witnesseth that the said Samaria May for and in consideration of the sum of the sum of one hundred and fifty Dollars in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents doth bargain sell and convey unto the said Isaac Newel his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the first District of Balwin [sic] County and South west corner of Lot Number nine (No. 9) adjoining the County line dividing Baldwin and Jones Counties containing Sixty Acres more or less It being the part lying in Jones County of said Lot adjoining lands of Whitehurst and others. To have and to hold said tract or parcel of Land unto him the [said] Isaac Newel his heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members reversions rents profits and appurtenances thereof to the same in any manner belonging to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple. And the said Samaria May for himself his heirs Executors and Administrators the said bargained premises unto the said Isaac Newel his heirs Executors Administrators and assigns will warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and against the claim of all and every other person or persons whomsoever.
