   Jones County Deed Book N. p. 224 (on microfilm)
    9 Aug. 1826 -- THOMAS C. McDOWELL of Monroe County to JOHN SPEIL of Jones 
County for $300, Lot #5 in the town of Clinston, bounded at the lower corner 
and running parallel with Spring Street 173 feet, thence parallel with Lot #1, 
210 feet , thence south 45, West 173 feet, thence with a direct line to the 
beginning corner containibg 5/6 of an acre, more or less.
