Mitchell of the one part and David D. Mitchell of the other part. Both of the same place witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of eight hundred dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. The said Warren A. Mitchell hath granted bargained sold and by these presents doth bargain grant and sell and convey unto the said David D. Mitchell his heirs and assigns a certain tract or parcel of Land situate lying and being in the twelfth district of originally Baldwin but now Jones County on the Oakmulgee River the bounds beginning at a certain hickory tree corner say Mrs. Pippins corner thence to said Oakmulgee River about the mouth of the branch near and above the canebreak in the Lowgrounds field thence down to the river to the corner of Thomas Beelands field at the mouth of another branch thence of said last mentioned branch to a certain hickory tree corner said Green Pippins field thence with the fence of said field to the upper corner of said field near the branch thence of the branch to Mrs. Pippins corner thence with Mr. Pippins line to the beginning corner containing three hundred acres more or less to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of Land together with all and singular the rights members and appertanances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining to said tract or parcel of land unto the said David D. Mitchell his heirs and assigns for ever in fee simple. And the said Warren A. Mitchell his heirs executors and administrators and assigns unto the said David D. Mitchell his heirs and assigns will Warrent and forever defend the right and title thereof against themselves and against the claims of all other persons. Whatsoever, In testimony whereof the said Warren A. Mitchell doeth hereunto set his hand and affix his seal the day and year first above written.
