This Indenture made this fifth day of December in the year of our Lord 1825 
Between Thomas Morris of the State & County aforesaid of the one part and James 
Huckaby of the same place of the other part.  Witnesseth That the said Thomas 
Morris for and in Consideration of the sum of Three hundred Dollars to him in 
hand paid at & before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt 
whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold & Conveyed & by 
these presents do grant bargain sell and Convey unto the said James Huckaby his 
heirs & assigns all and Singular two tracts or parcels of land situate lying & 
being in the County of Baldwin when surveyed now Jones County Containing Three 
hundred acres Known & distinguished by lot No. Ninty Seven in the Sixth 
District of said Baldwin County also the North west half of lot No. One hundred 
& twelve in said County & District.  To have and to hold said tracts or parcels 
of land unto him the said James Huckaby his heirs & assigns together with all 
and Singular the rights Members and appurtenances thereof to same belonging in 
any wise to his & their own proper use benefit and behoof forever in fee 
Simple.  And the said Thomas Morris for himself his heirs & assigns the said 
bargained premises unto the said James Huckaby his heirs & assigns will warrant 
& forever defend the right & title against themselves and all other person or 
persons whatsoever.  In Witness whereof the said Thomas Morris hath hereunto 
set his hand & Seal the day & year above written.
