Brown This deed made and entered into this thirteenth day of March eighteen hundred & twenty two between Harrison Smith of the one part and William F. Brown of the County & State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Harrison Smith for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to me in hand paid by the said Brown the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold aliened & conveyed & by these presents doth bargain sell alien & convey unto the said William Brown his heirs & assigns all that tract or part of Lot of Land lying & being in the Town of Clinton in the State & County aforesaid & known & distinguished in the plan of said Town by part of Lot Number (4) number four and the part fronting said Browns Shop and Elisha Tarvers Gin House containing two acres be the same more & less together with all & singular the rights & members thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. To have and to hold the said bargain premises and every part thereof unto the said William Brown his Exrs &c in fee simple and I the said Harrison Smith do will warrant the said bargained premises from the claim or claims of all persons whatsoever unto the said William F. Brown his heirs & assigns forever.
