Witnesseth that the said Daniel Thurmond in and for the consideration of the Sum of four hundred dollars to him in hand paid at the time of the Sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargained & Sold, released and confirmed and do firmly by these presents bargain, Sell, release, and confirm unto James Huckabay Two hundred two and one half acres of land, lying and being in the County of Baldwin, at the time of Survey and in the Sixth District which are known in the plan of said District by the No. One hundred and two, but now in the County of Jones, beginning at pine post Thence North forty five West forty five Chains to a pine post Thence South forty five West, forty five chains to a pine post Thence South forty five East, Forty five chains to a post Oak post, Thence North forty five East to the place of beginning holding all within these bounds two hundred two and one half acres be the same more or less, having Such Shapes and forms as will more fully appear by the Original plat and grant. To have and to hold all and Singular the rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging forever in fee Simple and ["Said" is crossed out, then written again] Said Daniel Thurmond doth warrant and forever defend the aforesaid premises from himself his heirs, Executors administrators and assigns and from all other persons whatsoever unto the afforesaid James Huckabay his heirs and assigns forever to his and their own proper use benefit and behoof ["forever" is crossed out].
