Deed Book Q page 473 Georgia, Monroe county This indenture made and agreed on this eight day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight-hundred and thirt seven between Isaac Willingham, Senr. of the county of Jones and state aforesaid of the one part and Nancy Pitts of the state aforesdaid and county of Jones of the other part, witnesseth that the said Isaac Willingham for and in consideration of the sume of o ne hundred and three dollars to him in hand paid at and before the signing sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained sold and conveyed and do by these presents grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Nancy Pitts her heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in the county of Jones adjoining Hosea Johnson and others containing forty acres more or less known as the place on which Henderson Doster formerly lived. To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land unto her the said Nancy Pitts her heirs and assigns together with all and singular the rights members and appertenances thereof the same in any manner belonging to her and their own proper use and benefit and behoof forever in fee Simple and the said Isaac Willingham Senr. for himself his heirs Executors and administrators the said bargained premises unto the said Nancy Pitts her heirs and assigns will warrante and forever defen the right and title thereof against themselves and against the claim of all other persons whatever-In witness whereof the Said Isaac Willingham Senr. hathe hereunto set his hand and seel the day and year first above written. Done in presence of Test. Wm. Cleland Wilson Gathright Isaac Willingham Recorded 17th day of Feby 1852. (Part of 165th -12 dist) This Indenture made and entered into the Elventh day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty nine between William Johnson administrator on the estate of William Willingham dec'd of Jasper Co. and state of Georgia of the one part and Isaac Willingham of the County of Lincoln and state aforesaid of the other part fWitnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty dollars to him in hand paid o or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged. Whereon the said William Willingham in his lifetime made and executed his certain bond or agreement in writing whereby Promising to make or cause to b e made unto the said Isaac Willingham good and sufficient title to a certain tract or parcel of land whereon the said Isaac Willingham then lived adjoining land of McAlister Williamson on the west side and whereon Nancy Pitts now lives containing one hundred eighty two and a h alf acres more or less and the said Willingham departed this life without making any titles thereto and whereas the said Isaac Willingham has petitioned---rest of deed missing from my files Additional Comments: I research Willingham from Fairfield Dist., SC to Green Co., Alabama...so any Willingham I have copied. This deed I was going to throw away and decided to add to the internet, since so many counties involved and this could prove that either William Willingham or Isaac Willingham in all these different places was one and the same.
