LIQUORS. 1882 Vol. 1 -- Page: 564 Sequential Number: 389 Short Title: TO PROHIBIT THE SALE OF INTOXICATING LIQUORS WITHIN TWO MILES OF ROUND OAK METHODIST CHURCH IN JONES COUNTY. Law Number: No. 97. Full Title: An Act to prohibit the sale of malt, spirituous or intoxicating liquors within two miles of Round Oak Methodist church, located in Jones county, of this State, and for other purposes. Section I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Georgia, That from and after the passage of this Act no person or persons shall furnish or sell any spirituous, malt or intoxicating liquors of any kind, or cause to be furnished or sold any such spirituous, malt or intoxicating liquors within two miles of Round Oak Methodist church, in Jones county, State of Georgia. [Sidenote: Prohibited within two miles of Round Oak church, Jones county.] Sec. II. Be it further enacted, That any person violating the Page: 565 provisions of this Act shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and punished as prescribed in section 4310 of the Code of 1882. [Sidenote: Violations -- how punished.] Sec. III. Be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That all laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act be, and the same are hereby repealed.
