J. Jarrell, age 74, died at home, 519 South Sixth street, Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock, after an illness of only a few days. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. E. M. Shaw, of Forsyth and Mrs. Annie Woodruff, of Barnesville; four sons, T. J. Jarrell, of Forsyth; R. C. Jarrell, of Columbus; H. F. and J. A. Jarrell, of Griffin; three sisters, Mrs. G. M. Smith, of Atlanta; Mrs. Laura Patton, of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. T. J. Campbell, of Macon, Ga., three brother, Messrs. J. A. and G. E. Jarrell, of Macon, Ga., and J. L. Jarrell, of Griffin, Ga. Funeral services will be held from the residence tomorrow (Friday) morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. W. Jette Moore will officiate. Interment will be in Oak Hill cemetery with Haisten Bros., funeral directors, in charge. The following gentlemen will please act as pall bearers and meet at the residence at 10 o'clock: Messrs. O. H. Weaver, Paul Smith, Edd Daniel, L. S. Farmer, A. L. Shepard and H. C. Stallings.
