State Items Condensed

George Washington Comer, aged 107 years, probably the oldest resident of Jones 
County, died at the home of his son, Kit Comer, at Holton.  Mr. Comer at one 
time represented Jones County in the legislature and he had resided in that 
county practically all of his life.  He leaves seven children, twenty-three 
grandchildren.
