That is to say principally + first of all: I recommend my Soul unto the hands of Almighty God, that gave it, and my Body I recommend to the earth, from whence it came. And as touching my worldly estate, wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life, I give, demise + dispose of the same in the manner following, viz. I give + bequeath to Nancy my beloved wife all the property which I may be possessed of at my decease together with all my household goods + debts + movable effects, also all + singular my lands + tenements by her freely to be possessed + enjoyed during her life, or widowhood. And I do hereby utterly disallow, revoke + disannul all + every other former testaments, wills, legacies, bequeaths + Executors by me in any wise before named willed, + bequeathed; ratifying + confirming this + no other to be my last will + testament. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand + seal this 26th day of July Eighteen hundred + twelve. Absalom Eiland (his mark and seal) Signed, sealed, published, pronounced + declared by the said Absalom Eilands as his last will + testament in his presence + in the presence of each other have hereto subscribed our names Thomas Rainey Stephen Eilands Asa Eilands Georgia, Jones County Personally appeard in open court, Stephen Eilands, one of the subscribing witnesses to the within will, who being duly sworn, deposeth + saith, that he saw Absalom Eilands the within will, and that it the true last will + testament of the deceased, and that Asa Eilands was present + subscribed his name as a witness thereunto.
