			WILL OF ROBERT LUNDY, DEC'D

State of Georgia}		
Jones County    }

In the name of God ~ Amen.  I Robert Lundy of said State
and County being of advanced age but of sound and
disposing mind and memory realizing that I must shortly
depart this life deem it right & proper both as respects
my family and myself that I should make a disposition of
the property with which a kind Providence has blessed me
~  I do therefore make this my last will and testament
revoking and annulling all others by me heretofore made ~

First

I desire and direct that my body be buried in a decent
and Christian like manner suitable to my circumstances &
condition in life ~  My soul I trust shall return to rest
with God who gave it as I hope for salvation though the
merits and atonement of the blessed Lord & Savior Jesus
Christ ~

Article Second

I give to Eliza Smith formally Eliza Lundy of the County
of Lowndes ~ Rebecca Lundy of the County of Jones,
Velovet Lundy of the County of Lowndes, Greila Lundy of
the County of Jones~I give and bequeath all my real and
personal estate ~

Article Third

I give and bequeath Abner S. Lundy five dollars ~ Anna
Lou Bird formerly Annie Lou Lundy I give her five dollars
~ Lurany Bird formally Lurany Lundy I give her five
dollars ~

Article 4th

I hereby constitute George H. Lowe of the County of Jones
and State of Georgia & Rebecca Lundy of the County of
Jones & State of Georgia and Eliza Smith of the County of
Lowndes as Executors of this my last will and testament
this the 28th day of April 1896~

Jones County }			Ordinary's Office May 4, 1896~

		Personally came John S. Humphries ~ Lee Humphries ~ R.J. Tyner & G.D. Comer the subscribing witnesses to the within instrument of writing who each swore oath deposeth and saith that they were present & saw Robert Lundy the Testator sign seal and publish this within instrument as and for his last will and testament and so declared the same to be his last will ~ that he was in his right mind & sound mind and memory at the time he signed it ~ and signed it freely and of his own accord ~ that we were present & signed same as witnesses thereto at his instance & we each signed in his presence & in the presence of each other ~ as witnesses ~

					Oath of Executor 

I do solemnly swear that this writing contains the true last will of the within named Robert Lundy dec'd so far as I know and believe and that I will well and truly execute the same in accordance with the laws of this State
