I SARAH MESSER of the county of Jones and State of Georgia being at this time in moderate health and of sound disposing mind and memory and knowing the uncertainty of life do think proper to make constitute and ordain this my last will and testament embracing the following items (vic). ..After my decrease I give and bequeath unto my daughter ALETHA TABITHA CARY one negro girl by the name of EMILY, and all her future increase, one bed, one clock one cow and calf, one looking Glass, and two decanters, to her and her heirs forever. ..item 2nd I gie and bequeath unto my son BENJAMIN MESSER one bed and furniture. ..item 3rd I give and bequeath unto my daughter SARAH ANN BETHUNE HONEYCUT one bed and furniture. ..item 4th It is my will and desire that all the ballance of my estate should be sold and the proceeds equally divided in common amongst all my daughters. ..item 5th and last I hereby nominate and appoint my son-in-law JOHN A. KARY my whole and sole Executor to carry into effect this my last will and testament.
