Parrish of the County Jones County } of Jones being feeble in body and health but of sound and disposing mind and memory do make publish and declare this to be my last will and Testament. I give and bequeath to the two children of my niece Mrs. Ann Holly the sum of sixty thousand dollars to be equally divided between them, the share of Annie the daughter is given for her sole and seperate use and free from the power or control or any liability for the debts of any husband she may marry, the share of the son to be paid when he attains the age of twenty one years. If either of my said two legatees should died under the age of twenty one years and with out a child or children living at his or her death then the share of such one so dying to go to and vest in the survivor. If both should die leaving no child surviving and under the age of twenty one years then the whole of said Legacy is to be divided equally between all my nieces to their sole and seperate use and as their seperate Estates respectively. I given to my nieces Mrs. Ann Holly the sum of five thousand dollars the house and lot where one Alexander Juhan lives my best carriage and Horses - negro woman Mary and her child Charlotte and all my kitchen and household furniture. The same to be for her sole use and benefit and as her seperate Estate free from any and all liability for the debts of her husband. I give to my niece Mrs. Ann Howard the sum of five thousand dollars for her sole use and benefit and as her seperate Estate free from any and all liability for the debts of her husband. I give to Annie Howard daughter of my said niece Mrs. Ann Howard the sum of Ten thousand dollars the same to be free from the power and control of any husband she may marry or any liability for the debts and to be for her sole use and benefit and as her seperate Estate. If my Estate should not be sufficient to discharge all of said Legacies then I direct that each shall proportionately abate to the extent of such deficiency. If after the payment of said Legacies there be a remainder or balance I give one thousand dollars to Miss Fanny Smith who now lives with me and any residue I direct to be equally divided between Mrs. Ann Holly and Mrs. Ann Howard Subject to the same restrictions as above imposed upon their respective legacies. I desire my Executor to apply the Sum of one thousand dollars to defray the burial Expenses and to take care and protect my grave. I add to the Legacy I have already given to Mrs. Ann Holly a negro woman named Sely about sixteen years of age subject to the same restrictions as are imposed on the preceeding. Parrish the Testatrix Sign Seal publish and declare the within instrument of writing to be and to contain her true last will and Testament. that the Testatrix executed the same freely and without compulsion and that she was at the time of Executing the same of sound and disposing mind and memory and that deponents signed the same as witnesses at the request of said Testatrix in her presence and in the presence of each other.
