Williams of said county and state being of sound mind and disposing memory do make and declare this my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit. First, I will and direct that my Executrix and Executor hereinafter named as soon after my death as it can well be done collect all moneys and demands due me and pay all my just debts. Second, I will and bequeath to my beloved wife Lucy C. Williams, and my children James D. Williams, Thomas J. Williams, and William F. Williams all my estate both real and personal each and equal interest or share therein. Third, I will and direct all my estate both real and personal be kept together and managed at the discretion of my Executrix and Executor for the benefit support and maintenance of my wife and for the benefit support maintenance and education of my children until the marriage of my wife, or until the arrival at age of my sons, respectively, and upon the marriage of my wife she is to draw her portion of my estate and the balance to be kept together for my three sons until my oldest son James D. Williams arrive at age, then he is to draw his portion, and the balance to be kept together until my son Thomas J. Williams arrives at age, then he is to draw his portion. The other portion to belong to my son William F. Williams, but should my wife not have married at the arriving of age and the division of my second son, my wifes portion and the portion of my youngest son are to be kept together until my wife should marry or my youngest son arrives at age, then the last and final division to take place. Fourth, I will and direct that my Executrix and Executor have the liberty to sell and dispose of any portion of my estate at their discretion and that they have the privilege of vesting the proceeds thereof together with the nett proceeds of my other property as they may deem advantageous to my estate and for the benefit of my Legatees. Fifth and lastly I hereby nominate and appoint my wife Lucy C. Williams Executrix and my brother William D. Williams Executor to carry into effect this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal this the eighteenth day of November 1842. Howell F. Hardeman one of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing instrument who being duly sworn saith that he saw Howell F. Williams sign seal publish and declare the said instrument to be and contain his true last will and testament and that he was at the time of executing the same of sound mind and memory, and that Jacob B.
