Barnesville Church Ravaged by Flames
     Barnesville, Ga. - The First Methodist church was destroyed by fire 
Tuesday at an estimated loss, church members said, of $50,000.
     Firemen said the blaze originated from a faulty electric switch.  The 
fire department fought the fire for two hours, most of the time in a downpour.
     The interior of the church recently had undergone renovation.  The Rev. 
John Tate, pastor, said there was $18,000 insurance on the church.
