Barnesville Boys At Collins Three Barnesville boys are "in the swim" at Collins, one of the thriving new towns of south Georgia, which is another evidence of what success attends the efforts of those who grow up under the influence of Gordon Institute and the spirit which pervades this community. All of them are well known here and their friends are not surprised at the success with which they are meeting there. Mr. Emmett Langford is cashier of the Bank of Collins, enjoying the confidence of the stock holders and citizens of the community and receiving a splendid salary. The bookkeeper of the bank is his brother, Mr. Marvin Langford, who is also rising rapidly. Mr. Alvin Langford, another brother, is manager and part owner of the Collins Drug Co. and the Tatnall Journal, the county paper, speaks of him as “a young man of rare business ability who is rapidly building one of the finest drug businesses in that section of the state.” The record of these boys shows what character, ability and hustling will accomplish, even among strangers.
