FINAL RITES HELD FOR MRS. M. H. ALLEN
Former Resident of Barnesville Dies in Jacksonville, Buried Here
     Funeral services were held at Jordan's Funeral Parlor here Sunday morning 
for Mrs. M. H. Allen who died Friday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. 
Harvey Council of Jacksonville, Florida.  Mr. Homer Bush and the Rev. David 
Sheppard, pastor of the Congregational church, officiated.
     Interment was in the home cemetery near Brent.
     Mrs. Allen, who was 76 years of age, was a native of Monroe county.  For 
many years she resided near Brent, Georgia.
     Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband; three daughters, Miss Lucy Allen, 
Mrs. Jack Stephens, and Mrs. Harvey Council, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; one 
son, Mr. Henry Allen of Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. J. W. Bush of Forsyth; 
and two brothers, Mr. Gus Howard of Forsyth and Mr. Charlie Howard of 
Barnesville.
     Mrs. Allen was a sister of the late Mrs. Albert Bush of Barnesville.

Allen.  She is listed in the Florida Death Index as dying in
1937 in Jacksonville, Duval Co., FL.
