Bunn, 60, of Lamar county, was found slain in his bed today, county officers reported. Bunn, with three sons and a nephew lived on the farm of J.L. Kennedy, two miles west of here. He had been paralyzed six years. There was a pistol wound above his right temple. However, officers say that Bunn’s right hand was paralyzed. A pistol found beside the body with two empty cartridges had not been fired in some time, the officer stated. Another pistol, blood-stained and recently fired, was found behind a board in a closet of an adjoining room, the officers said. Two sons, Eugene and Tom, sleeping in an adjoining room, discovered the body and called Sheriff Z.T. Elliott. Coroner J.M. Martin impaneled a jury, which began to make an inquest. The jury will convene again tomorrow. County officers siad that they are ready to make arrests in the case as soon as a verdict is reached by the jury. Also Barnesville News-Gazette April 23,1931 Two Sons Held For Father's Death Sheriff Z.T. Elliott is holding Grady & Tom Bunn in connection with the death of their father T Farmer Bunn near Aldora one day last week. Coroner J.M. Martin empanelled a Coroner's Jury who made a thorough investigation of the affair and rendered a verdict that Mr. Bunn was killed by "unknown parties." He was found dead in his home with a pistol wound in the head. The two sons told different stories about the killing and all the circumstances seemed to justify holding them pending further investigation by the Grand Jury.
