R. Bush Buried Sept. 28th Mrs. Jane Elizabeth Reynolds Bush, 92, of Route two, Red Bone Community, Barnesville, died early Friday morning, Sept. 27th at the Boling Green Nursing Center in Thomaston where she had resided for several months. Mrs. Bush was a native of Green County, Ga., and had made her home in Lamar County for a long number of years. She was the widow of Mr. Frederick Walton Bush. Mrs. Bush was a retired teacher and had served as principal of Gordon Grammar School. She was a member of the Fredonia Congregational Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Henry M. Payne of Cedartwon and Mrs. Stephen Shekmar of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., a son, Milton Reynolds Bush of Barnesville; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Lomax of Cedartown. Funeral services was [sic] conducted at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon Sept. 28 from the Fredonia Congregational Church. Dr. Wesley W. Martin officiated and burial was in the church cemetery. Friends visited the family at the residence on Community House Road in Barnesville. Haisten Funeral Home of Barnesville was in charge of plans.
