H. English, Sr. passed away at her home on Thomaston St., where she has lived for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Until the time of her death, she took an active interest in English's, the business established by her husband. She was one of the mainstays of the First Methodist Church, and took part in every phase of Church work. She was diligent in all she did. She had a fine garden, and it gave her pleasure to share the flowers and vegetables from it with her neighbors. Mrs. Bernice Farley English was beloved by her family, her neighbors, and had many, many friends throughout the town and county. She will be missed. She will be remembered.
