Culloden, Ga., March 1- Mrs. James P. Hardy, mother of A. S. Hardy, of The Gainesville News; B. H. Hardy and J. B. Hardy, of The Barnesville News-Gazette; Mrs. O. H. Sullivan, of Culloden, and Mrs. W. A. Florence, of Atlanta, died at the home of her daughter here at 11:30 o'clock last night after an illness of five months. She was a consistent Christian, being a member of the Baptist church. Last October she came from her home in Barnesville to visit her daughter, Mrs. Sullivan, at this place, when she was taken ill, and she was never able to be moved home. Mrs. Hardy was 64 years old, and is survived by her husband, James P. Hardy, and five children. The funeral occurs from the Baptist church at Barnesville, Wednesday, conducted by her pastor, Rev. C. W. Durden, and Dr. C. A. Ridley, of the Quitman Baptist church. The interment will be in the family lot in the Barnesville cemetery.
