O. Howard Buried Friday Funeral services for Joseph O. Howard, 65, were held at the Ashe-Wilder Funeral home Friday afternoon in Forsyth. The Rev. Adrian Warwick and the Rev. Hayes, pastor of the Forsyth Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Forsyth cemetery. Mr. Howard died at his home on Sims Street Thursday after a prolonged illness. He and his family recently moved into Barnesville from Redbone, after having lived in Forsyth and Macon for a long number of years. Mr. Howard was a member of Prospect Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Alice Boyd; a daughter, Mrs. Hammond Dunbar, Zebulon; sons, W. Guerry Howard, Forsyth, and Joe O. Howard, Jr., Barnesville; sisters, Mrs. Oscar Dumas, Redbone, Miss Kiddlie Howard, Forsyth; A. O. Howard, Atlanta, and John M. Howard, Forsyth.
