Funeral services will be held in the Fredonia Congregational Church in Barnesville at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Clyde Lancaster and the Rev. Mr. Nelson will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state in the church from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Pallbearers are to be Haygood Keadle, Lee Otis Butler, Tommy Means, Henderson Bankston, Laurice Means and Reuben Futch. Mrs. Keadle, widow of Eddie Jackson Keadle, was born in Lamar County and had lived in Macon for 15 years, coming from Barnesville. She was a member of the Fredonia Congregational Church in Barnesville. Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Keadle of Atlanta and Jack Keadle of Macon; four daughters, Mrs. Frank Nelson and Mrs. Montine Sorrells of Macon, Mrs. Bennie Collins of Barnesville and Mrs. Neal Goodfellow of Atlanta; a number of grandchildren; four brothers, Berner Means of Barnesville, Hillyer Means and Paul Means of Atlanta, and Bill Means of Tampa, Fla., and six sisters, Miss Hermie Means of Atlanta, Miss Cola Means and Mrs. Homer Sappington of Barnesville, Mrs. Tom Futch of Rochelle, Mrs. Charles Birch of Thomasville and Mrs. Jewell Bankston of Atlanta. Hart's Mortuary as charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Pearl Buff Means was born on 26 December 1882 in Monroe (now Lamar) County, Georgia, the oldest child of John Thomas Means and Annie America Thurmond Means. She married Eddie Jackson Keadle on 11 August 1912 in Monroe Co., GA. They are buried at Fredonia Church Cemetery in Barnesville.
