Miss Means, a retired school teacher, died Tuesday. Surviving are her sisters, Mrs. H. A. Sappington of Barnesville and Miss Arcola Means and Mrs. Jewell Bankston, both of Atlanta; and brothers, R. B. Means of Barnesville and P. A. Means of Atlanta. Additional Comments: Hermie Miriam Means was born 4 May 1884 in Monroe Co. (now Lamar), GA, the second child of John Thomas Means and Annie America (Thurmond) Means.
