W. Middlebrook Mr. Benjamin Washington Middlebrook of 419 Zebulon street, Barnesville, died Monday morning a the home of his brother, Harvey Middlebrook at Jonesboro. He was born in Upson County and lived in Lamar County 60 years. He formerly owned the Dixie Papershell Pecan Exchange. He was a member of the Barnesville Methodist Church. He was a Mason, member of the Pinta Lodge No. 88 at Barnesville; a Woodman of the World and a member of the National Papershell Pecan Exchange. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Annie Allen of The Rock, Ga.; three brothers, Harvey Middlebrook, Clarence Middlebrook, both of Jonesboro, and Claude Middlebrook of Milledgeville; four nieces and one nephew. Funeral services are being held Wednesday at 3 o'clock from the First Methodist Church at Barnesville. The Rev. Sam Coker officiated and burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery at Barnesville. Masons had charge of the graveside services. Hubbard Funeral Home of Barnesville was in charge of arrangements.
