Final Rites For Mr. Moye Thursday
     Mr. William Burton Moye, 69, a native of Redbone, the son of the late Mr. 
and Mrs. A. S. Moye died Monday morning at Albion, Michigan, where he was a 
member of the faculty of Albion College.
     He had lived in Barnesville for 43 years.  He was a Professor and had 
taught at the Middle Georgia College in Cochran, Ga., Teacher's College in 
Statesboro, Ga., and the Norman Parker College, at the college at Cookeville, 
Tenn. and Mansfield, Penn.  He went to Albion College, Albion, Michigan this 
past September.
     Mr. Moye was a member of the faculty at Gordon Military College for a few 
years.
     Mr. Moye was a member of the Fredonia Congregational Church in Redbone.
     He had been sick for more than a week.  Mr. Alex Moye and Mr. Floyd Moye, 
sons of Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Moye were with him at the time of his death.
     Mr. Moye is survived by a brother, Mr. Alton J. Moye, Barnesville; a 
sister, Mrs. H. F. Buford, Macon, Ga; several nieces and nephews also survive.
     Funeral services for Mr. Moye will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 
3:00 o'clock from the Fredonia Congregational Church with Dr. Wesley Martin 
officiating.  Interment in the Church cemetery.
     The body will arrive in Barnesville sometime Wednesday night and will 
remain at Hubbard Funeral Home until time of services.
     Hubbard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
