Mrs. Muriel Berry Dawson
  Mrs. Muriel Berry Dawson, 74, of Barnesville, died Thursday, Nov. 19 at the 
Upson County Hospital.  Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Nov. 21, 
1987 at 11 a.m. at the Antioch Baptist Church.
  The Rev. Dan Bailey officiated.  Interment was held in Antioch Church 
Cemetery.  Williams Funeral Home of Barnesville was in charge of arrangements.
  Mrs. Dawson was a native of Winston County, Ala., but made her home in 
Barnesville most of her adult life.  She was a homemaker and a member of the 
Antioch Baptist Church.
  She is survived by her husband, Mr. Felton Dawson of Barnesville; four sons, 
Mr. Bernard Dawson, Mr. Earl Dawson of Barnesville, Mr. George and Mrs. Ricky 
Dawson, both of Milner; five sisters, Mrs. Lois Ellerby of Box Springs, Mrs. 
Lillie Wooten and Mrs. Virginia Nicholson, both of Barnesville, Mr.(Mrs.) 
Edith Cochran of Jacksonville, Fla. and Mrs. Sylvia Williams of Meansville; 
brother, Mr. Chester Berry of Yatesville.  Eight grandchildren, one great-
grandchild, a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
