                                     Funeral Services For Mr. Buchanan
     Mr. Joe S. Buchanan, 59 , a veteran of World War 1, died at the
veterans hospital in Dublin Monday. He was a resident of Meansville and a
farmer. He had been in the hospital only a short time.
      Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at
Ebenezer Methodist Church , Lamar County. The Rev. Carlton S. Piper
officiated
      Interment was in the church cemetery.
      He is survived by three brothers, Codey Buchanan, Milledgeville, Otis
Buchanan, Woodbury and Willie B. Buchanan, The Rock.
      Haisten Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
