Buried At Milner

Rev. J.E. Pound, who was killed by the Central railroad near Monticello last 
week, was buried at Milner Friday afternoon last. His death was an exceedingly 
sad one. He was a very popular citizen and preacher among the people of Jasper 
county where he had been laboring for a number of years. His body was 
accompanied to Milner by about fifteen prominent citizens of Jasper who were 
familiar with the life and work of the beloved preacher. He was well known 
around Milner and throughout middle Georgia.
