Mrs. Edge Dies Suddenly

Dr. J.M. Rogers received a telegram Monday morning from Austell announcing the 
death of Mrs. P.W. Edge, The mother of Mrs. Rogers, which occurred there about 
7 o’clock from heart failure. The news came as a distinct shock to Dr. Rogers 
and family as they were looking for Mrs. Edge to visit them in a short time. 
She had not been ill and they were looking forward to her visit with much 
pleasure.  Mrs. Edge has frequently visited Barnesville since Dr. Rogers had 
moved here and she was quite favorably known to a good many people of the city.

Dr. And Mrs. Rogers attended the funeral in Macon Tuesday. They have the 
sympathy of all the people of the city in the sorrow occasioned by the death of 
this good woman.
