Potts Dies Tuesday P.M. Mrs. Effie Driskell Potts, age 79, of Route 2, Barnesville, Ga., died Tuesday afternoon at the residence of her son, Mr. J. B. Potts, after an extended illness. She was born in Monroe County and had lived in Lamar County all her life. Mrs. Potts was a member of the Marvin Methodist Church. She was the widow of the late Mr. John Bryant Potts. Mrs. Potts is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Carlton Huff, Sr. of Williamson, Ga., Mrs. T. W. Fulton of Atlanta, Ga., Mrs. Carroll Watson of Lincoln, Ala.; five sons, Mr. Frank Potts, Mr J. B. Potts, Mr. Troy Potts, all of Barnesville, Mr. Clyde Potts of Macon, Mr. Paul Potts of Alexandria, Virginia; one brother, Mr. Shy Driskell of Dade city, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. S. T. Stallings of Dade City, Fla.; Mrs. E. E. Reynolds of St. Petersburg, Fla.; seventeen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several neices and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Potts will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Hubbard Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Grant Hinshaw and the Rev. Ernest P. Kendall officiating. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Mrs. Potts will remain at the funeral home. Hubbard Funeral Home of Barnesville in charge of arrangements.
