Willis, died Saturday morning, July 24th. Her health had been failing rapidly for several months. She had a stroke of Paralysis on June 17th and from then she suffered greatly and told her husband and friends that she was ready and willing to go but regretted to have to leave her two little girls. She was born in Spalding county, March 12, 1878. Her father moved to Upson county when she was a child, so the most of her life has been spent in that county. She made friends where ever she went. Besides her husband, she leaves two little girls, Mary and Ruby, and her father and mother, five sisters and three brothers and numerous other relatives to mourn for her. Surely one has gone whom we shall miss. We try to bow in humble submission to the Father of all and say “Thy will be done.” - Mrs. J.A.W.
