Mr. Zellner was a native of Monroe County, but had made his home in Barnesville for a number of years. They had recently bought a home in Redbone District Community and he and his family had moved out there some time last fall. He was employed with the William Carter Co. in the bleachery department. Mr. Zellner was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Martin Memorial Post Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Woodmen of the World. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lethia Ellis Zellner; his mother, Mrs. Bessie Dumas Zellner; three daughters, Mrs. Nancy Z. Mathieu of Las Vegas, Nev., Miss Martha Zellner and Miss Cathy Zellner, both of Redbone; three sons, Larry Zellner, Michael Zellner and David Zellner, all of Redbone; one grandson, John Ibor Mathieu of Las Vegas; four sisters, Mrs. Buford Freeman, MIss Mary Zellner and Mrs. Fred McLarty, all of Macon, and Mrs. William Koski of Yatesville; five brothers, Berner Zellner and James C. Zellner, both of Redbone, Raymond Zellner of Barnesville, Preston Zellner of Augusta and Glenn Zellner of Macon. Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the First Baptist church in Barnesville. The Rev. Howard Ethington and Elder Guy Smith officiated. Burial was in the Ramah Primitive Baptist Church cemetery. Haisten Funeral Home was is [sic] in charge of plans.
