The quiet ceremony was performed by the Rev. W. Carl Parker, pastor of the Fredonia Congregational church, in the study of his home on Elm street. A few members of the families of the bridal pair and several close friends witnessed the nuptial rites. Miss Bush is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Jackson Bush. Her mother is the former Samanthia Askin. Mr. Means is the son of the late T. J. Means [sic; should be J. T.] and Mrs. Annie Thurmond Means. Both have large family connections in this county and are among its best known citizens. The bride was attired in a jacket frock of powder blue sheer. Her hat and accessories were navy. A shoulder spray of gardenias completed the attractive costume. After the ceremony, Mr. Means and his bride left for a wedding trip through the North Georgia mountains. Upon their return they will be at home in the home of Major and Mrs. Homer A. Sappington, on Holmes street in Barnesville.
