Born in Lanier County to the late Askew and Orie Smith Browning, she was a faithful supporter of the W.L. Miller Memorial Library in Lakeland many years. She was a member of the Camp Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Clinch County where she taught Sunday School and played the piano for over 30 years. Her love for others was always displayed in her smile; her joy was being a wonderful mother and grandmother, known as "Aunt Mama." She was married to the late Vinson Bradford. Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Smith and Jane Stephens, both of Valdosta, Wanda Blanton of Lakeland; three sons, Danny Bradford, Tim Bradford, and Paul Bradford all of Lakeland; one sister, Avy Cook of Nashville; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. at Camp Creek Baptist Church in Clinch County with Rev. George O'Berry, Rev. Scott Tomlinson, and Rev. Chad Bailey officiating. Interment was in Mud Creek Cemetery in Lanier County. Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
