 J.C. Browning, 65, of Lakeland passed away October 9, 2014, at South Georgia 
Medical Center.
 He was born on January 13, 1949, in Hahira to the late Candler and Myrtle 
Cannington Browning. He served his country in the United States Navy, was 
retired from the Department of Public Safety. Motor Carrier Compliance Division 
as a MCO3, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Lakeland. In addition to 
his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Browning.
 Survivors include his wife, Sandra Browning of Lakeland; son and daughter-in-
law, Andy (Whitney) Browning of Nashville, son and daughter-in-law, Clint 
(Holly) Browning of Lakeland son and daughter-in-law, Aaron (April) Chadwick of 
Nashville, son and daughter-in-law, Michael (Amber) Chadwick of Lakeland; 
grandchildren, Josh, Jarrett, Landen and Charlie Browning, Alyssa and Anderson 
Chadwick, all of Nashville, Devin, Millie and Harper Browning, and Chasey 
Chadwick all of Lakeland; brother and sister-in-law, Wallace (Tonia) Browning of 
Lakeland, brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy (Debbie) Browning of Nashville; 
sister and brother-in-law, Diane (Fred) Kilgore of Lakeland, sister, Candy 
Browning of Lakeland; numerous nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on October 12 at First Baptist Church in 
Lakeland.
 Interment was in Fender Cemetery.
 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
