Jason Clint Fender, 47 of Lakeland died April 9, 2014, at South Georgia Medical 
center after a battle with cancer.
 He was born March 17, 1967, in Jacksonville, FL, to Dorothy Jean Guthrie Fender 
of Lakeland and the late Calvin Fender. He loved to build things with his hands 
which helped him start Fender and Sons Construction. He helped run this company 
for over 20 years until ill health forced his retirement. His favorite past-
times were spending time with family and friends, bass fishing and hunting. He 
was Baptist by faith and will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
 Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife of 22 years, Angie 
Warren Fender of Lakeland; daughter and fiance’, Kala Fender and Matt McMichen 
of Valdosta; son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Crystal Fender of Lakeland; son 
and fiance’, Cody Fender  and Danielle Warren of Lakeland; three grandchildren, 
Chloe Fender, Nadia McMichen and Landon McMichen; brothers and sister-in-law, 
Calvin and Tammy Fender of Stockton and Heyward Fender of Tallahassee, FL; 
sister and  brother-in-law, Debbie and Terry Huff of Lakeland; several nieces 
and nephews.
 Funeral services were held April at 11 a.m. at Southside Baptist Church of 
Lakeland with burial in Fender Cemetery in Lanier County.
 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
