 Lamar Edgar Griffin, 78, of Lakeland died April 5, 2010, at Louis Smith Me
Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
 Born April 22, 1931, in Berrien County to the late Herbert and Vera Shaw G
Griffin, he served four years in the U.S. Air Force and was Baptist by faith. H
He is preceded in death by his wife, Janet Griffin, two brothers, Wendall G
Griffin and Billy Griffin.
 Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, Debra Casey, Sheree 
Lewis, Melody and Glyn Register, all of Lakeland; son and daughter-in-law, Jo
Johnny and Janine Griffin of Conifer, CO; 12 grandchildren, 16 great gr
grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were held April 8 at 11 a.m. at Lakeland Chapel of Music F
Funeral Services with burial following in Empire Cemetery.
 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
